PURPOSE:
The machine is designed for sharpening cutting tools – including mounted milling cutters, planer heads, knives, end mills, and circular saw blades with carbide tips.

Structural Features:
The indexing head is equipped with graduated dials and features fine adjustment. The indexing head increment (or sharpening increment) is 15 degrees. Thus, the machine can sharpen shank-type milling cutters with 2, 4, 6, 8, and 12 – tooth configurations. The rear live center enables the sharpening of heavy – duty planer heads with a length of up to 300 mm. The arbor for shank – type milling cutters is furnished with the necessary adapter rings for all cutter mounting diameters.

The knife sharpening fixture consists of a base plate equipped with clamping bolts. This fixture is designed to sharpen straight – edged knives with a maximum blade length of 300 mm. Mounted on the spindle of a standard indexing head, the fixture allows the sharpening angle to be set via the graduated scale, ensuring precise sharpening results.

The manual circular saw blade sharpening fixture consists of a base plate with a saw holder adjustable according to blade diameter. This fixture is capable of sharpening circular saw blades with brazed teeth up to 700 mm in diameter. Mounted on the spindle of a standard indexing head, the fixture allows for visual inspection of the sharpening angle, tooth relief, tooth pitch, and tooth height.

The manual sharpening fixture for end mills and drills consists of an indexing head fitted with a clamping collet chuck. This fixture is designed to sharpen end mills with a diameter ranging from 3 to 19 mm. Mounted on the machine’s sharpening table and secured in the T-slots, the fixture allows the sharpening angle, tooth relief, and tooth height of the end mills to be verified via the graduated scale.

The machine is equipped with a coolant delivery system. This coolant system increases the rate of metal removal from the worn edge of the tool, thereby reducing tool sharpening time, and prevents abrasive dust from entering the respiratory tract of the sharpening operator.
The machine is equipped with a centralized lubrication system that ensures the timely delivery of lubricant to the friction components. This extends the service life of the sharpening machine.

The high-precision linear guides are made of durable, wear-resistant steel. They ensure smooth movement of the worktable and thus high sharpening accuracy (the linearity deviation of the worktable is ±0.005 mm per meter of length).

The adjustment mechanism for the vertical movement of the sharpening unit is located on the front of the machine, enabling quick and precise machine setup.
